Gratitude to My Angel

Right now, I just feel happy. The sun is shining, it's a beautiful day, and my knee is recovering fast. Gratitude fills my heart. My dear friend has took care of me and prayed for me every day. "I'm praying for your speedy recovery", she said. Almost every day she asks, "How are you now? How is your knee today?" I thank God for sending me such an angel. And this is not the first time when she has "served in this role". Without her, I never would have found my faith again. On a day like this, it is easy to believe in God. I thank God for everything, for joy and sorrow.

Blessings to all my friends, and these flowers (image above) I want to give to my humble and shy angel. Flowers are white, because Your soul is pure. May God bless You forever! (^—^)

P.S. I'm a little embarrassed to write something so personal like this... (>_<;) But hey, this is my blog where I can share my thoughts and feelings, and this is how I feel right now. (^_^) To my mind, people does not express their gratitude enough. That's why I wanted to write these words at the right time. Finally, I add here one of my favorite song, 'She is everything' performed  by Spock's Beard. The lyrics are very beautiful – just a little fragment:

"She is everything
The sacred, the pure
The fix, the addiction
The vision, the cure"

  1. Hi Teisuka,
I'm glad to learn that you are recovering very fast. I'm also happy that you've got such an angel to help you get through rough times. I admire you. Yes, a person like her will make you have a stronger faith in God. I believe it's God who sent her to you. Amen!

Also thank you for sharing the nice song. I like it. May you continue to be blessed and fully recover soon! I will always keep you in my prayers, my friend!

Have a nice weekend and enjoy each and every day! -:)

    1. Hi Bao,

Thank you very much for your heartfelt comment, wise words, and prayers. I really appreciate your support, my friend. :)

Yes, I am recovering fast. Yesterday was the best day, but then I went to the shop by bike... Aiya! I think it was a little mistake. But I have no car, and I had to go to the shop... It was quite painful experience, but I learnt that it is also possible to bicycle with a one leg... haha. But now my knee is more sore again.

To be serious, my "angel friend" has been truly remarkable in my life. I completely agree what you wrote, "Yes, a person like her will make you have a stronger faith in God. I believe it's God who sent her to you." Amen. I am sure God has sent her. ^^

When my faith was dead after my mother's sudden passing, my friend started to pray for me, and she sent me a Christian message. I always remember that profound, faith-filled message which I received at my darkest moment!

Little by little – as unnoticed – she brought me back to faith and restored my soul, or God did it by using her. That is very obvious, and I am very grateful for that. For me, this is more valuable than anything in the world! All glory to God, of course, but often He is using people to do His work on Earth. Like my friend used to say, "We are instruments in the hands of God." I really like this saying.

Again, thank you for being here, my dear friend and spiritual brother. ^^ For my part, I continue to remember you and your wife in my prayers. Blessings – and have a nice weekend. Have fun! :)

    2. Hi Teisuka,
I just replied but before I publish it, I inadvertently touched another key, and my reply was totally gone! So I'm writing here again, in a simplified version though. -:)

You've got to be careful, my friend! With your knee still in the process of recovery, I don't think it's a good idea to ride a bike. Is it possible to use public transportation? If not, how about asking a friend to help you get the stuff you need? Right now, you need to try your best to avoid a second injury. So you really should take care of yourself. Hope you will recover sooner. -:)

I totally agree with you that God uses people to do His work. Your angel friend is a very good testimony. Here I'd like to share a joke regarding God's work. Hope it can cheer you up while you are still recovering. -:)

It was flooding in California. As the flood waters were rising, a man was on the stoop of his house and another man in a row boat came by. The man in the row boat told the man on the stoop to get in and he'd save him. The man on the stoop said, no, he had faith in God and would wait for God to save him. The flood waters kept rising and the man had to go to the second floor of his house. A man in a motor boat came by and told the man in the house to get in because he had come to rescue him. The man in the house said no thank you. He had perfect faith in God and would wait for God to save him. The flood waters kept rising. Pretty soon they were up to the man's roof and he got out on the roof. A helicopter then came by, lowered a rope and the pilot shouted down in the man in the house to climb up the rope because the helicopter had come to rescue him. The man in the house wouldn't get in. He told the pilot that he had faith in God and would wait for God to rescue him. The flood waters kept rising and the man in the house drowned. When he got to heaven, he asked God where he went wrong. He told God that he had perfect faith in God, but God had let him drown.
"What more do you want from me?" asked God. "I sent you two boats and a helicopter."

    3. Hi Bao,

Many thanks for your new message and good wishes. Yes, I must be careful with my leg now, and I will do that. Thanks a lot for your concern, my friend. I really appreciate it. :) My knee is getting better little by little...

Thank you also for sharing that joke regarding God's work. It is a wise joke and made me smile. :) That was a good example how God uses people to do His work, and sometimes people are too "blind" to see it.

You too, be well and take good care of yourself, my friend! For my part, I always remember you and your family in my prayers. :)

Greetings from sunny and warm Finland,

      Teisuka

  2. Dear Brother!

I'm so glad to hear you're happy and your knee is better <3
I totally agree what you said: "people does not express their gratitude enough." This world would be so much better place to everyone, if people could show their gratitude and say positive and kind words to other people - everyone needs to hear things like that :)

I'm not religious that way the most people are, as you know, I believe in "The Spirit of Life". I'm into buddhism, celtic wisdom etc.

I hope your happiness continues, Blessed be!

    1. Dear my little sister Tenchu,

Many thanks for your nice comment and blessings! So glad to see you in my blog again. ^_^ I agree with your wise words, "This world would be so much better place to everyone, if people could show their gratitude and say positive and kind words to other people - everyone needs to hear things like that".

Exactly! We all need some good and kind words from time to time. I believe in the power of words, in good as well as in bad.

The Orthodox Christianity is my thing, and I get strength and comfort from this beautiful religion. I'm not sure if I found it or did it find me... :)

Yeah, I know you are not religious "that way the most people are". :) And you know that I'm broad-minded and I appreciate the Buddhist wisdom of life and philosophical Taoism very much. But I'm not so familiar with the celtic wisdom.

Happy Birthday in advance, dear PikaChu! I wish you happiness and all the best, too! Let's keep in touch, my dear little sister! <3

      Blessings,

      big brother Teisuka
