That We Become Snow

Tonight, after a long time, I wrote a poem. It's my first poem this year. I had a very inspired feeling: I felt that I was surrounded by winter, snow, and love. Besides, I felt the presence of God – that someone very dear was praying for me. Forgive me, I'm a an incurable romantic. ( ̄ー ̄)

O, my love – Snow Maiden of mine!
Our pleasure is to enjoy winter together
just by walking around the snowy streets,
taking pictures and building snowmen,
laughing and playing snowball fight,
smile on cold lips, warmth in hearts
just walking so far that we become snow.

Now two floating snowflakes rise up to the sky.
Oh my – so far below us is the restless world!
This fragile dream might be the place we belong.

  2. Hi Teisuka,

What a wonderful and beautiful poem! It seems that your poem comes at the right moment as it is snowing heavily now in New York City. According to the weather forecast, we will get 2 to 3 feet of snow by tomorrow, making a historical record! I don't think I can go to work tomorrow, and I'm sure our office will be closed!

I'm very happy that you really feel the grace of God and are surrounded by love. Is it the reason why you almost have forgotten about YouTube? Haha, just kidding, hope you will always have such a good mood. -:)

Enjoy your winter, my friend. Hope you will have more blessings during this favorite season of yours. -:)

    Cheers!

    1. Hi Bao,

Thank you very much for your great feedback and compliment, my friend. I'm glad you like my modest poem. :) 2 to 3 feet of snow in New York City?? Wow, that is really much!! I just hope that people are safe... my goodness! We have snow only 24 cm in my area.

The reason why I have almost "forgotten" YouTube are copyright issues. I'm sure you understand what I mean. :) Anyway, I am active to watching videos.

Many thanks for your good wishes, Bao. For my part, I wish blessings and all the best to you and your family, my friend! Keep warm and be safe in the snowy city! Cheers! :)
