The Impending Clouds

The time is stretching while I'm spending
a rainy night by listening to Revelation,
escaping the reality, running ahead,
behind me the enemy of humanity.

No time for love means no time for live.
Now what's the time and am I still alive?

In these times of wrath and insanity
the love of many is growing cold.
Friends turn their back to each other,
farewell to the flowers and cranes.

Dark clouds are rising in the sky,
warmongers are proudly marching
over the graves of past generations.
Does no one realize where it leads?

A poem by Teisuka (on 23rd of the Harvest Month, 2014)

  1. Hi Teisuka,
Very glad to see that you're back on your blog station. Hope these annoying spams will be away from you from now on. How are you, my friend? Hope everything has been going well for you!

I like your poem even though it doesn't carry a pleasant message. Haha...I agree with you that the world we're in nowadays is far from a great one, but I think we should always focus on its positive side. Progress has been made in many aspects, while, of course, there are aspects that are going down. What we can do is that we always keep a positive attitude and do things that we believe are right. Even this is hard, at least for me, that's why I struggle from time to time. But now I learn to accept this, this is part of life, I suppose.

I've been quite busy recently, especially this summer, and that's why I have been much less active on YouTube. My son is going to apply to college this semester, and he has so much to do that I have to get involved to help him. He is stressful, so am I. Hopefully we can get through this period of time smoothly. Also, I've kind of lost much interest in maintaining my Youtube channel. I don't know exactly why, maybe it's because there is much less interaction on Youtube among TT fans nowadays. It seems that there are much fewer TT fans out there on Youtube, and I hope this is not the reality.

Thank you for sharing your nice poem with us. Hope you keep up the good work here even though it seems that there are not many people who respond to your postings. Your blogs have always been great, and I really appreciate your sharing here.

Oh, by the way, it will be the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival tomorrow. So here, I wish you a happy Moon Festival! -:) I haven't got a chance to eat moon cakes yet, how about you? I think it's even harder for you to get moon cakes in your area. Let's just enjoy the moonlight then. Haha...

Thanks again, and enjoy your new week, my friend! -:)

    1. Hi Bao,

Very glad to see you here! :) Thank you for being THE ONLY COMMENTATOR here. I really, really appreciate it! You are a real friend. Nowadays, it seems only spammers visit here. I get about 5 spam messages per day...

I'm mostly okay at the moment. Well, not everything has been going so well but no more about it... Today I have a day off, and the sun is shining. In the evening, I'm going to study Russian language in the adult training college (I started my studies one week ago).

Thanks for your kind and polite feedback, Bao. You're right, this poem "doesn't carry a pleasant message", nope. I wrote it some weeks ago when I had "dark season" in my life (to be honest, I don't like the summer at all - thanks God, it's over). I think this was the first time when I wrote a poem about the war or the threat of war.

For sure, "we should always focus on its positive side"... but when we see the world we live in, it is simply impossible to be only positive all the time... Of course, we can keep our hope even though it seems that the world is going down. Thank God, finally everything is in the hands of God.

My friend, thank you for telling me your news. I hope everything will go well with you and your family. Please do not stress too much. And I agree with you, YouTube is more silent these days, but I still believe there are many Teresa Teng fans "behind the silence"... So keep up your good work with your videos, Bao!

Finally, thanks for your good wishes. For my part, I wish you a Happy Mid-Autumn Festival - to you and your loved ones. Be blessed and take good care of yourself, my friend. Also I have no chance to eat Moon cakes this year, but like you said: "Let's just enjoy the moonlight then." Cheers! :)

      Blessings,

      Teisuka
