Sunday Morning Coming Down

Time flies. I started my blog exactly one year ago, so it's the first anniversary. During the year, I have written a total of 44 articles, which means not even one update per week. The first article was titled Something about the Orthodox Church. You can see it here.

Now it's an early Sunday morning and it's raining here in Western Finland. The sun is rising at 4:17 AM. The mornings here are quiet and that's okay for me, because I love the silence (except if I'm singing karaoke or listening to heavy metal music, haha). But it's too early to do neither of them. To be honest, my home is usually silent as a monk's cell. ( ̄ー ̄)

On this morning, I have nothing special to say. Instead, I want to share one song with all of you. It has played in my mind since yesterday. The song is Sunday Morning Coming Down sung by Johnny Cash. I love his country music, and this song is one of my favorite. Sometimes I can identify with this song very well... And this is how I'm feeling this morning.

So, please check out the video above. My good American friend Glenn has made this touching video. You can follow the lyrics on the screen.

Happy Sunday to all of my friends, and thank you for being here.

Blessings.

Teisuka

    1. Good evening (or night), Michiko the Bonnie-chan -^^-

Thank you for visiting and for your nice comment. Time flies, indeed. Mr H.G Well's time machine? Ah, how I love that book (novel) and also time travelling movies. Time machine - such a romantic idea! If I would have a time machine, I would travel to the 19th century and maybe I would never come back... ^^

Thank you for your good wishes, Bonnie-chan. I really appreciate that. And yes, Glenn's video is just excellent. I knew that you love this song too, because you are the Country Girl. Yeeha! ^^

Regarding my karaoke singing, I'm just practising at the moment... but later I will post one song, when I'm good enough. Usually, I'm singing karaoke only in the pub. ;)

Have a nice week ahead, my dear little sister, and again, thank you for being here today! Ganbatte kudasai!

  2. Hi Teisuka,
So it has only been one year since you started your blog? And you've already written 44 excellent articles, that's quite an achievement! -:) Time definitely flies, but we should look at the passing time with no regret as long as we make the best use of time to do things meaningful. Your blog articles are definitely meaningful, and I've learned a lot from them. You may not think 44 articles are a lot, but you don't do it as a profession, you just do it as a hobby, so I think 44 is a lot! -:) Of course, I would have preferred more from you, but as a hobby, you should just do it at your own pace, and you've done it very well. -:)

I hope I can still "see" you often at this blog during the time you're away from YouTube. Hope being offline form YouTube will be good to you in many ways. Of course, I wish that you will be back on YouTube soon. I know you met some unpleasant things on YouTube, but in general, it is still a fun place for us, isn't it? -:)

May you have a fresh and wonderful start of the new week, my friend! -:)

    1. Hi Bao,

Thanks a lot for your encouraging comment and compliment, my friend. I am glad if you have learned something from my blog. I can say the same about you. I always appreciate your practical wisdom and clear thinking. :)

Yes, I also think that 44 articles are enough, because this is just a hobby. I really have no stress with this site. All is voluntary, and I can write what I like. I don't know how long I will be offline from YouTube. Probably I can not stay away for long time. You're right, it is nice place to listening to music and watching the movies. Fun place, yes... but also takes its toll. So, sometimes I like to move there quietly and secretly like a ninja... ;)

Again, thanks for your kind visit and good wishes, my friend. Have a wonderful week to you too. See you later. Blessings!
