A Winter Night Atmosphere

I'm staying up through the night.
The town is silent, it's snowing,
and the darkness is escaping.
As the snow covers everything,
thinking of you fills my heart
with the brightest of lights.
And my lantern burns
until the morning comes.

    Hi Teisuka,

    A very beautiful poem! Subtle, romantic and sentimental! :) I can imagine the long nights with snow covering the ground in your area during this time of the year. Hope you still feel good about all this. Ha ha...be sure to get enough sleep, don't stay up too late.:) I haven't got much sleep over the past several days, and I felt sick this morning, so I called sick and did not go to work. Right now I think I do need to take care of yourself. And you too, my friend, keep warm and get enough sleep. :)

    Sorry, in my previous comment I meant "I do need to take care of 'myself'". My internet connection is really bad today, so I feel a bit frustrated, do not know what I'm typing. :)

      Hi Bao,

      Thank you always for your good words, my friend. Oh, I love winter and snow more than ever. Winter is my favorite season. Thank God, because it's absolutely the longest season in Finland. :)

      To be honest, I didn't sleep last night at all, and now it's a new night... I've been awake for two days. I have insomnia (sleeplessness) sometimes, but that's not so big problem for me. Only sometimes little. ^^

      Oh, are you sick, Bao? Please get better soon and take good care of yourself, my friend. Try to rest enough, not too much Internet, and let your wife treat you, if possible. Haha. ^^

      Oh gosh...you are still awake? It seems that you sleep too little...If I were you, it would have been too miserable for me. LOL Yeah, you are right, I need to take care of myself and reduce my internet time. From now on, I'll be offline until tomorrow morning. Hope you can go to sleep now. :)
